SEF Government gateway (password)

Haven't tried yet but can I use the same password to log on sef as I do to do my tax return on line?

Also can I cut and paste and save as I go along or do I have to do it direct and in one chunk?

type it in word/notepad then paste into your SEF

remember to save often too.

You can do your SEF a bit at a time, whether directly or copy and paste and it saves as you move pages. It has been known to lose work as you are typing it so I would recommend doing it in word and copy and paste.

You can add, amend, delete until you submit it and you can only submit when they is data in each box. You can put a tbc in a box if it isn't finished as you want to submit.
