Continous improvement
Should this be detailed in the SEF form or could I have a separate folder?
I decided two weeks ago that I should really keep more up to date with paperwork so have started making notes of things I do/change (including why I did it and how it improves outcomes for children) - I have something nearly every day since I started thinking about it! Over the next 2 and a half years this will be a LOT of additions to the SEF - I think it will tail off a bit but reckon there will still be a lot over that space of time. Should I just put it all in and give the inspector a lot to go through or could I have it in a separate folder and then refer to this folder in the SEF?

Either is fine.. I use my cpd folder and periodically update my sef

You could keep a list and highlight how you do it on your SEF with a few good examples, that gives the inspector the chance to delve further should they wish to.

I just keep a CPD folder and make noes in my planning, RA and and Training folders. It takes time to do this.
I have never completed a SEF as this means I would be repeating what I am already doing which to me is a waste of time. They are not compulsory and interestingly schools are no longer required to complete a SEF as it was recognised as a waste of time in repeating work that was already being done.
