Protecting vulnerable groups

A new safeguarding scheme is coming into force which will affect Scottish childminders.

The scheme aims to ensure ‘those who have regular contact with children and protected adults through paid and unpaid work do not have a known history of harmful behaviour.’

The scheme is being launched on 30th November 2010.

I was just going to say ours was being suspended, I'm not sure if its just going to be re-jigged though!!
