    Default SSSC

    hello Scottish Ladies,

I received my SSSC newsletter in my mail box today and have read that

"all managers and practitioners in day care of children services must apply to register with the SSSC."

Does this include us or are they just talking about people in nurseries and playgroups?

the newsletter can be downloaded from the above.

i asked the scma this question and because we are childminders we do not have to register with the sssc.

that was asked a couple of years ago now, things might have changed. i registered with the sssc through being a part time nursery nurse at my local playgroup but it is also mentioned on form that i filled in that i am a part time childmider as well.
