Hello,
I'm new to all of this and looking at part 4 of the registration process. For the policies, procedures and statements I just wanted to know if you have to cover a-h all separately and if so what would the title be for each one. I have looked at other childminding policies online and they look a bit more understandable e.g. complaints policy, care, learning and play policy, accident/incident policy. Do you just have to make sure you cover all the policy points in you policies.
Thanks,
moggy

I hope someone from Scotland comes along to help you out.
It is helpful to write that you are in Scotland in your thread text as some of us view 'New Posts' and we do not see easily what section the thread is posted in! Most of us are under Ofsted in England and the procedures and rules are different.
Good luck with your application and welcome to the Forum.

Hi there, sorry I'm not here to offer any help as I'm completely confused with what to write in this section of the application form, not sure if I'm totally overthinking it but any help would be much appreciated as I haventurine even put pen to paper with this part and it's the only bit holding me back now x

I haven't sent off my application form yet but I have written all my policies on one document after each letter. I looked through other childminder's policies and those of local nurseries to get an idea of what to write and amended them to fit my proposed service. A couple of the points had already been covered in previous statements so I just wrote see statement "x". Not sure if this is correct but its the way I have done it - hope it helps.

If you Google the question you will see quite a few Scottish colleagues have made their policies and procedures available online :D
