    Default Paperwork

Hi there, I'm a new childminder not starting until May. I just wondered do you guys give the prospective parents copies of your policies & procedures, child protection statement etc or do you just have it available to read when they want to.
Also what bits and pieces do I need to have on display at all times? Need to get myself a cork board but can't remember what I need to keep out. I know my registration certificate and fire evacuation stuff but what else?

Also should parents sign to say they have read my child protection statement?

    Thank you
    Wendz x

Hello :-) I email all of my policies to parents, saves me on print and they've got a copy they can then refer to. On the wall you must display your Ofsted cert, insurance cert and Ofsted parents poster. I am pretty sure that's the minimum requirement. Good luck on your venture x

Sorry just realised you are in Scotland so the requirements may be different.
