    Default Informing Insurance companies

    Hiya,
I have my registration visit on Thursday and Im wondering about my insurances. I dont want to pre-empt and get all my insurances before Thursday incase it takes another month from then to get registered. Im going to get my liability insurance from SCMA when I join that. Im going get a quote that I can print out from my car insurance company to include Business Use but its the house Insurance Im more concerned about. Do I need to inform both Home and Contents providers?
    Cheers

I would wait until your registration comes through before you contact your insurance companies (house, contents, car) but you can just tell your inspector that you know that you do need to contact them and will be getting liability insurance from SCMA.

Thank you for your response. I passed my inspection so will be informing all the appropriate bodies once my certificate comes through.
