    Default Accident recording

To reflect advice given by some Local Safeguarding Children Boards re not using a body map when recording accidents to children, I have updated my mini e-book 21 which covers accidents, incidents, existing injuries and illnesses, accidents elsewhere and first aid recording to show 2 different formats of accident recording -

    1. With a body map - for the majority of accident records

    2. Without a body map - for LSCBs which have changed their advice.

If you have bought mini e-book 21 previously from me please message me for a free update.

    Thank you!

Sarah, how do we check which one our lscb wants? I just checked on our lscb website and there is no mention of it. x

It is information which is being passed on in some LAs during training.

Now all safeguarding training has to be LA approved, some areas seem to be making it up as they go along.

i like the body map. I DO KNOW MY LEFT FROM RIGHT BUT I get confused when talking about left and right! Is a bruise on my left of their body when i am looking at them, or on their right (if I were in their body looking out)!

With the body map, i find it easier
