Default Just starting RA's - Confused

    Hi everyone

Well I have done all my policies (well most anyway) and managed to muddle my way through ... lol .... but now starting on Risk Assessments and totally confused. Can I use the template that I was given on the ICC course????? Do I have to do one of these sheets for every single room and outside and car and outings etc????? So lots of paperwork then???

Also, what are daily RA's ??? I presume this is stuff like checking fridge temperature etc??

    Please help

Yes you are on the right track. RA's need to be done on all outings you will undertake with the children and i have one for each room of the house plus gardens.

The daily one- mine is a long checklist and i date each column (so one sheet per month) and put on it all the this which need checking before the children arrive ie no animal faeces in garden, radiators all turned down, cupboard locks working etc etc

I use the south gloucestershire ones , they have spaces for you to add anything specific to your home , they are the most thorough i have found , and were recommended to me by my prereg inspector. Unlike policies i dont see the need to write my own RAs when these are so good. hth.
