Default Do I have to keep old risk assessments?

Having been minding for a few years now I am totally redoing some of my risk assessments as have learnt a few things that didn't occur to me when I first began (mostly from on here!).

My question is do I have to keep the old ones as evidence that I had them from the start? Seems silly when I am changing them for the better but don't want to be caught out if I get inspected in the next few months.... Any advice appreciated!

I keep them because they are on my computer and I copy the document, update it and keep it as a new version.

I have them from quite a few years ago in my back up dropbox file as well

Yes I keep all my old ones too...again cos they're on my computer and as I update them I save them as a new file. If ever anyone asks at least they're there I suppose
