    Default my mum helping

    Hi,
Is it alright if my mum comes with me tp play group and helps ? I go with my own son and 2 minded children. I did send off the form to get her crb checked when I first started because she is a regular visitor to my home, but they sent it back because she wouldnt be left alone with the children at any time. I still wouldnt leave her alone with any (other than my son)
It feels like I need to question everything I do as I'm new to childminding
Another quick question, do you take all your minded children to the toilet with you when you are at playgroup ?
    Thanks

I am surprised they didn't do the CRB! Why not register her as your assistant to be on the safe side. Its really easy, only a quick form and CRB. In the meantime as long as you don't leave her alone with the children I don't see why she can't go to groups with you.

I always take all my children to toilet when I'm at groups. I know some minders watch eachothers children but I just would not risk it.
