    Default childminders "splitting up"

    hi there
    Im working with other childminder in her house but we are thinking of splitting up as our partnership is not working well and I want to start minding in my own house. does any one know how long does it take to register new house and what paperwork needs to be done? thank you for your help

    Your best bet is to contact Ofsted and check it out with them.

    I use to co-childmind one day week but the girl i worked with was also registered as a childminder in her own home. I contacted ofsted to remove co-childminder from my certificate - The other co childmidner continued to childmind under her own certificate in her own home.

    Hi, I have had this situation. I registered with a friend and worked at her house for 6 months. It didn't work out and I moved to my house. I had to risk assess my house and fill in a house move form. No visit, no hassle. Good luck x
