    Default Do I need..

My hubby is now registered as my assistant (god bless him) and I have permission slips from my parents for him to have sole charge on occasions.

I was wondering if I need a policy regarding this and maybe detailing the occasions when this may happen.

What do those of you with assistants do?

I have a policy, consent forms and then my assistants sign in my visitors book (Mum and Sister) detailing the times they had the children from and to.

Keeping a record of when the assistant is in sole charge is a great idea, never occurred to me. Thank you.

Just a reminder that if you leave him in sole charge e needs to have done a local authority approved paeds first aid course.
