Has anyone sent in a paper based Ey2 since the new (laughable streamlined ) online system has come in?
A short easy document has just become an absolute pain!!
Just wondering if a printed paper based one would still be accepted?

No I haven't but my hopefully new assistant was filling hers in today online and it was fine. What part is a problem? Maybe someone on here can help?
Sorted now thank you, I was trying to complete it on my log in....... It has to be registered and logged in and completed by the assistant.
Once done it flew through, just not sure how I'll be able to monitor its progress / or do I just await a suitability letter...... Or does that go straight to the assistant too ?
Oh well find out in sure over the next few weeks. Xx
Apparently the form will trigger a letter sent to them to do a DBS so that's the next stage. After everything is ok we get a suitability letter. Haven't got much more idea than that. Fingers crossed- let's see whose gets through first lol!
I did it with her here, it does the ey2 and during it links to drb which you fill in and pay for online then back to ey2 and submit that...... However we nearly forgot to print the step three ID verification to scan and email back in.... Fingers crossed it's all acceptable to ofsted !
Let the waiting commence xx
Not sure if mine finished hers as she was doing it at weekend. I will see as she hasn't mentioned anything to do with payments. :-/
To get to the submit stage you have to either enter a isa / DBS number or click through the link to open ( in a different window ) the capita website. So in theory !!! All should be well xx
Spoke to her and she said she has submitted and it didn't ask for any money or anything. Hoping she has done it right!
Maybe she has a current drb ? That's still useable ?
They need to set up their own x
Google "online ofsted" and the home page will allow her to set up a government gateway password. It's not the normal ofsted website it's the online one.
Thankyou, I've asked her to set up a gateway then I may be back with more questions!
