    Default Risk assessments/policies for apprentice/assistant?

Hi everybody, I am having a paperwork day today, my new assistant is starting next week and I am wondering what you changed when you had an assistant start with you in the way of risk assessments and policies? Would I just add 'assistant' under 'who is likely to be at risk' in my existing risk assessments?
What do you do about assistants using mobile phones during their working hours?
Her assessor is coming on Tuesday to get her signed up properly and said I need to have risk assessments in place specifically for the assistant.

    Thanks in advance

If you google for info you will get quite a lot of RA ideas coming up.

We had a mobile phone / bag / coat agreement - covering where they were stored, when used etc.

I enjoyed having an assistant here but it was hard work. You need to make sure you give yourself time to reflect and breathe as well or you'll end up feeling like you live in a goldfish bowl.

    Good luck!
