HELP !!!!! can i complete identity verification form for an assistant

I am in the process of registering another assistant. She has completed the ey2 and has now received her pack containing the DBS application form and identity verification form...I've gone blank. Can I verify her documents or does it need to be someone independent

the dbs form got sent back to my assistant telling her i could sign so I would say yes x

I suggest you contact Ofsted and check with them!

Roehampton uni are processing my DBS and it will be them who are doing my identity verification too. Check with ofsted but imagine it is the same for you - as you are carrying out the check.

Hi, Ive just taken on an assistant and I did all her verification checks. Sent them back to ofsted and they sent us both a letter confirming she is "suitable". Took about 8 weeks though!!!!! Good luck.
