Default thinking of working with an assistant-where to begin!

Hi, as the title says i am wanting to work with an assistant-i have the perfect person lined up already. I worked with her at my daughters school. My main query is when can she start working with me? She is already crb checked from working at the school (i know she will have to be cleared again) can she work with me while we are waiting for it to go through? Thanks everyone x

As far as I am aware it is fine as long as assistant is not left alone with mindees until checks have been done by ofsted & they also need to have paediatric first aid :-)

    Hope this helps x
