Childcare on Domestic Premises

My co-childminder and I are considering registering as childcarers on domestic premises - the registration you must have if more than three people are caring for children at any one time.

Ofsted has an information sheet, but it isn't clear (at least to me) whether

1. the adult/child ratios are the same as for childminding

2. there is a square footage regulation

3. whether small toilet/s are required or whether the family toilet is sufficient as in childminding

Can anyone help please?

And if anyone operates, or has operated, as CCODP is there any advice or information you think is important to anyone considering this?

I've done a search for previous threads on this subject, but can't find much information

The factsheet is written to show the differences between childminding and codm.

So anything that isn't in the factsheet would normally be expected to be the same as for the EYFS.

However, remember it's only valid until Sept when some things might change as the EYFS is changed.
