Question Ideas required for books-pet passing away/moving home

    Hi there,

I have 3 year old mindee beginning soon, she will have her taster session this wednesday.

I know this lo through playgroup and she has recently lost her bunny and is moving house.

Her mum is having obviously a tough time with tears and so on.

Are there any books out there for each subject which puts a positive slant on the situation(s) or at least explains in a not too sad way.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dana

Moving house - have a look at the Usborne First experiences book by Anna Civardi called Moving house or Moving house (First times) by Rebecca Hunter.

When a pet dies by Fred Rogers talks about the emotions children experience when they lose a pet.

Nothing by Mick Inkpen, inadvertantly deals with moving house.
Six Dinner Sid by Inga Moore is a moving house themed story.

    Goodbye Mog by Judith Kerr
Up in Heaven by Emma Chichester Clark

    Hope this helps!

Feeling strangely emotional at the thought of 'Goodbye Mog'.
