    Default Tonie box

Tonie boxes - have you heard of them?

Do you have one and are they any good?

I've seen these dotted about on instagram but I have no idea what they do. They are probably expensive. They seem to be the new 'in thing'.

I have seen them too but I think they are quite expensive and I think they may get a little annoying at times, as I understand it the children put a character on the speaker then that relates to a particular story. I don't think I could cope hearing a particular story being told over and over again! I think they are quite expensive and you need to buy the separate characters .

I saw them being advertised, but didn't understand the point!
I could use my Alexa to read stories from audible I think, but I prefer to read stories! If I'm really stuck, I might use a story on YouTube! Or even a story cd

There are some stories ... (' The gruffalo ' I'm looking at you ! ) that I can tell the children without needing the book, plus all the fairy tales etc

    I probably wouldn’t buy one.

I use google to sometimes tell stories, we use story cd’s and of course I read to the children practically every day. I think I’d prefer to buy books.

Brilliant answers from everyone! Great to know that I don't 'need' one.
