We got the Harry and the bucketful of Dinosaurs go to school. My son loved this book and still enjoys it now and he is almost at the end of reception class. It is lift the flap and shows them hanging their coats up etc.

I bought the Usbourne book but felt it was more relevant to preschool than school.

I have a ladybird book called start school, school makes me happy and it shows scenarios of school activities with a dial at the side were you can change the facial expression of how the child says they would feel happy, sad, not sure, excited. I bought it for my son when he started last yr and he loved it as we re did the book every few wks as he settled into school.
