    Default A suggestion

    Can we have a 'thanks' button on the forum threads. If members want to thank someone for a tip they have given or advice, they can click on the thanks button. Then maybe there can be a counter somewhere which says 'xx times thanked', or something like this.
    I only ask, as sometimes there are pages of posts from people thanking a member in this way, it would male some threads shorter.
    I have 'borrowed' this idea from Martin Lewis's MSE website, which I love as mush as the Childminding forum. It works there, and I thought it might be a good suggestion.

    Thank you Pauline. That explains things then. As an untechie person, it wouldn't occur to me that it cost money to add a button, but that makes sense.
    Never mind, something for the future!
