Then you can email the screen print - info@childmindinghelp.co.uk.

Hopefully this is the right email - if not I am sure Dave will correct me!!

Grrr...another pop up this morning, so the problem is still there. This time I couldn't get off the page without pressing escape and even then it kept coming back. I had to close the tab completely

I couldn't remember how to do a screen shot, so took a photo of the page with my camera. I'll try & uplaod the pics later.

    I use internet explorer. I think it's 7.

    The address was:

    Survey

EDIT: It won't do the address, keeps shortening the link. I'll try again!

    http: // local gifts panel. com / uk/ survey / indext 3b1 . php

That's it - just take out all the spaces!

Advice on what to do to close down a pop up - if you click on the X or on the No button this still could activate spyware or a virus onto your computer - you should click on Ctrl / Alt / Del - which brings up the task manager - this shows you the pop up and webpages running, click on end task for the pop up. I learnt this the hard way when a pop up disabled my virus protection software and I nearly lost everything on my computer this summer!

I've had numerous of these pop-ups over tha last few days. I thought it was something wrong my end but now I've read this and realised that it only happens when I'm viewing this website. I also couldn't use my back button this morning to get rid of it. It is VERY annoying.

Please can those who have seen popups post in here with the web browser they are using, preferably with the version number for example Google Chrome 21. Any screenshots of said popups (including the web browser address bar if possible) would also be good.

    Thanks

Internet Explorer 8 for me has these pop-ups constantly. Tried IE 10 but the forum doesn't like that so not sure about pop-ups. I now have the latest version of Firefox and I don't appear to have any pop ups (yet).

    Hi Richard,

It just happened to me for the first time a few minutes ago.

I clicked on a members post but instead of opening up the page to read it a pop up appeared & I was invited to do a '30 second UK Visitor Survey'. It wouldn't let me close the survey & so I had to log into the forum for a second time.

Not sure if this helps but it was something called '709 tube.com' that opened up the survey page.

    Hi Richard
I had my first pop-up this morning around 11am.
I was looking at a Firework/November planning thread and as I clicked on it the screen went white and then a pop-up came up saying 'If I took a survery I could win an Ipod or an Ipad'.

I have just tried on IE 10 again and the pop up is there almost immediately. It is one that you can't close so you have to close down window and sign into the forum again. Address bar is Survey

It was a survey about Apple to win an Ipod or an Ipad.

I have had it happen to me a few times too. Always thought i had done something wrong until i read this thread.

Within ten minutes of posting this reply i had another pop up. It is the same as polly 2 and the same address in the tool bar as previously posted. They only ever pop up on the forum.

Richard and his tech guys are running test after test to try and work out what is happening but it doesn't appear during any of their tests.

Please do the screen prints if you can - I have explained how to do them earlier in the thread.

    Thank you xx
