Default Anyone else have problems using smileys?

When I'm making a post I've found that I can't always use smileys in my post. I click on them, but it doesn't do anything.

The only way I can work it is to go to 'Preview Post' and add them there before submitting the post.

    ANyone got any ideas?

I had a few probs when I select 'more' smilies, it sometimes just opens an empty box?
    If all else fails......add glitter!
