I had a baby sign book for Benjamin but before I thought about being a childminder I gave it away to this lady who was interested in doing it with her baby but couldn't afford a book but I can replace it now! Yippee! I think baby signing is FAB!

No, its the Child's Play First Signs that I mentioned. I have never seen this book before. It is now out of print and seems to be American signing. The reviews on that site say some are ASL and some are BSL.Quote:

Yes, it is a completely different language. In BSL we use a two handed finger spelling system, ASL uses a one handed method. I've watched ASL signers on TV or on YouTube, I can't understand them at all yet I have a level three BSL qualification.Quote:

The original book in question was printed in USA & does use two handed finger spelling (BSL).
I think its still fab for the money & also includes multicultural & disability pictures.
