garden
Hi
Can anyone give me advice please!!!!!!
I have had to get my back garden ready for the children to play out, had to have fencing put up and get a skip to get rid of all rubble.
Can i claim this as an expense, also had to put garden slabs down and grass.
If i was not childminding then i would not of bothered to do it.
Thanks
Karen

Re: garden
I think that if you make improvements to enable you to do the job then you can claim. I would anyhow, you could always check with the tax office, but as long as it was resonable costs I cannot see anyone checking.

Re: garden
I'm claiming for a lot of my garden revamp this year as it is mainly to make it more child-friendly.

Re: garden
Tbh, I have no idea how much % you can claim... is it like a capital expense do you think?
I would ring the self-employment tax office for advice :D
