Hey folks!
Been on pre-reg since April and received a copy of my disclosure in the post yesterday - and my partners is on stage 5 just being printed.. Hopefully it wont be much longer and I shoudl get a confirmed yes or no.
The only thing that might prevent me from being a childminder is my parter 6 and a half years ago got into a bit of trouble for wounding someone in self defence on new years day, but never the less he had a trial and a 2 year probation thingy but didnt go to jail.
Have spoken to a few people and no one can give me a definite:idea: yes or no - I know I have been cleared and all the checks are fine on my account - unfortunately my career rests in my partners hands...
So fingers crossed for me folks - am hoping to get an answer next week xxx
