Well after making half a dozen to see them all collapse in a heap we finally got there in the end

We also made a fan
I used finger paints for both the lantern and the fan I found it easier with the children only being 2 and 3 years
wow they look fab. We are going to tackle these next week - fingers crossed they turn out like yours :thumbsup:

good idea using finger paints hope you don't mind but i will do this with ours as they are all under 3 as well

They're lovely Angel, good idea using the finger paints with the little ones. We're starting on Chinese New Year next week too, keeping it nice and simple as mine are only toddlers.:) :)
