Evening all,
Do we have to refer to the various points that a policy relates to in the EYFS/ childcare register when writing policies?
Am due to review some of mine this month and wondering if it's really necessary or another bit of faff, tia :)

I don't on my actual policies - parents have no interest in the legislation per se, but, I do note on my printed copy of the framework, which policies the legislation is incorporated into for Ofsted purposes.
That sounds a much better plan, thankyou Kiddleywinks! :clapping:
I did refer to EYFS sections/paragraphs etc at one time when writing policies, but then they update EYFS and all your references are wrong! So I don't anymore.
I have very few policies and I do refer to bits of the Eyfs as relevant ... but if it's not working for you then change it! :D
