Registering an Assistant

I just wondered can an assistant start work with you before their DBS has arrived, obviously she would never be left unsupervised with the children etc.

Yes they can - but they can't be unsupervised even for a minute and you can't increase your ratios until you have their Ofsted suitability letter :D
