Thank you Sarah - I find it hard to record Maths that we do outside either in the garden, at the park or out on a walk - we all do spontaneous counting songs eg: 5 little ducks, when feeding the ducks - count the footsteps back to the car when the little ones are tired to give them something else to focus on and look out for numbers on house doors but because these things aren't planned, they just "happen" and it's hard to remember whether A missed out 15 or 16 when counting or B could identify a 5 but C could identify a 6 - do you have any suggestions on how we can record outdoor observations.

My observation sheets state obs can be - inside / outside / outing / home / other setting / other...

I try to include one from each every month :D
