About ready to throw in the towel
:panic:
Hi all,
I'm after some help, I was wondering if there is anyone who offers or would be prepared to offer a mentoring service.
I have been going through the process of becoming a childminder for nearly a year now and for a number of reasons have hit quite a few obstacles (some in my own mind) and have found the whole process quite daunting. I set out to do the job because I love children and as mine are all growing and are all at school full time thought I could combine looking after children and working into a happy union. Now I feel that it is maybe not for me because of all the Ofsted requirements not because I no longer want to look after children. The whole thing is frustrating me and scaring me out of doing something I think I would actually find gratifying.
I thought today that maybe I would achieve my aim if I could work alongside someone or have a mentor Ie someone who has successfully battled their way through all that is required and is now running their own business.
It would be great to hear from anyone who may be able to help me.
Emma
