At what point do you turn away babies with 'colds'

I'm sitting here miserable with a cold which I was given by an LO last week and I get a message from Dad re daughter: 'x is feeling unwell with a cold and is quite miserable at the moment but I have to go to work tomorrow so will try to bring her in a bit later in the morning'

If it's bad enough to go to the Dr then surely just keep home?

I'm dreading this and as it is a 'cold' can't say no....

I think the fact I have a cold isn't helping, I seem to have one every weekend which gets passed on to me during the week.

Been in the same situation. I think the rule of thumb is if they can't take part in the normal daily activities they should stay at home

If they are "ill" with it then the LO should be at home.

Agree with yummyripples. If LO is too unwell to take part in usual planned activities (toddlers, trip to park, outside in garden, whatever), then they need to be at home. And if they are that ill, home is probably where they want to be.

I'll have to assess how 'miserable' she is (dads words) and if she has a temp and this time I'll be firm about it!
