The Bromley one is a good starting point http://www.bromleycma.org.uk/policie...rocedures.html
A lot of local authorities have standard ones you can use as a starting point.
Ask your childminding support person for more info :D
I think there is also a sample policy on the NCMA website too and also here

Policy on Safeguarding Children
My priority in my business is to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of the children in my care.
If I have a concern with a child I will approach the relevant authority for advise but never without though.
It is my job as a carer to keep a eye out for any signs of child abuse, either emotional or physical.
If there are any allegations of child abuse relating to children in my care I will notify Ofsted, in line with my conditions of registration.
If there is an allegation made against me i will act according to Ofsted guidelines. (i need to reword this last one)
Thats mine, then just do the procedures for those and jobs a good 'un. Not worried about showing and sharing as it's not very personal. I have a 'good' so all fine by ofsted. xx
