Default Good paperwork practice for kids OLDER than EYFS

(have also posted this in the new childminder section - hope I don't get shouted at for 2 identical post )

    Good morning folks

    I finally have mindees! YAY!

They start on Wednesday and I am really excited

I am thinking about paperwork for them and finding that there isn't really a lot of information about good paperwork practices for children OLDER than the EYFS range (my youngest mindee has just turned 7) so am assuming at this point that there is no heavy focus on things like written obs and planning for this age range.

I would like to hear from any of you who mind (or have minded) older children and what your thoughts are on daily/weekly/ongoing etc paperwork, whether this be daily diaries or planning or whatever. I think it unlikely that I will be doing a learning journal for the eldest who is 13!!!

    FYI they are 13, 12, 8 and 7.

Any help and input is greatly appreciated.

Other than the contracts etc all I do for mine is a scrapbook with photos/artwork etc. They manage it themselves and choose what goes in

My older children keep their own scrap books with photos, tickets from outings, notes they want to include etc.

They are also involved in organising and making suggestions for group planning for themselves and the little ones.

Thank you, you've both helped me too. I was 99% sure that was what I had to do (8yr old afterschooler starting this week).
