Default What to put in leaflet for new parents

    Hi

I want to do a small leaflet for parents to take home with them after the first meeting.
I intend to show them my portfolio during the meeting and have a parent pack for them when they sign contracts but just wanted to do a leaflet to take away and help them make their decision.
What do you think is important to include?

    Thanks
    Lu

I have one that says a small bit about me and dh ( we mind together ) a list of opening times and fees, a list of policies and procedures and a bit about our 'ethos' ie; we spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities like going for walks, to the woods etc.We also go to a few toddler groups ( if the weather is too awful ) or soft play areas. So include your activities too.

I have a bit about me & my family, and then a bit about the activities I do and a typical days routine, then details of my fees. I don't include policies as I go through this with the parents if they come back to sign contracts.

I use an A4 page folded into three which makes a nice sized brochure. I include a section about me, my family, what I am registered for and some information from a recent Ofsted inspection.

I then have a section about my service including EYFS etc. I then have information about a typical day's outings and trips, listing some of the places we go to.

I don't include any fee information although from a "business" perspective do show my opening hours and my fees payment policy.

I don't use a lot of colour - just enough to get someone's attention.
