Default 10 year old independant leaving ??

    Hi all,

I have a 10 year old on my books (ad hoc afterschool/holiday care) and in the past she has missed going to brownies when she is with me. Now that she 10, nearly 11, Dad has spoken to me about her walking down to brownies from my house (approx 5-10 min walk) with her mobile on her at all times and texting me when she arrived.

I am happy with this as i believe her to be a very sensible girl; dad and i both agree that to start with it will be on a trial basis - now i just need a permission form for it... does anyone have one?! xx

I had a child the same age leaving me independantly when there was severe roadworks locally and mum couldnt make it back in time to take him to swimming.

I just put that x would be leaving on xday at 4.45 and that my responsibility ended when he left my house and wouldnt be covered by my insurance.

    Hope this helps

Is there any reason if it is such a short walk, why you could not walk her down?

Can 't help with a specific form I'm afraid.

Because it clashes with other, younger, children eating their dinner and/or collections. Hense why in the past she has always missed her brownies session if she with me. xx
