I use continuous provision...
one column of messy play / crafts / role play etc...
One column showing my planning
One column showing links to Eyfs
Little columns to tick to show links to outdoors / other settings (incl home)...

Hi,
I had my inspection in April and was told that you don't need to do planning as long as you are keeping a note of your "next steps" and that your observations show that you are using them.

Hi I had mine in march she said more or less the same, just reading posts and thought this was a new thing , or just a way to show ways to inprove
if that makes sense

My page states:
Context Of learning : The area covered ie Mini beasts
A photo of the observation
What they did
How diod I support them
Links to the EYFS
Next steps

Then I have another sheet stating
Next steps to be taken (as above)
Next steps carried out and observations
Photo of task carried out.
Linking observations to EYFS:

My planning (prep work) is also based on the above example above except I have a box in the middle with the topic covered (farm/ body / shapes etc) and then in the boxes around (eyfs ares) I note ways in which I can cover through my 'theme'
Sorry don't think I can attach the files??
hth ?
