Default Parental res and legal contact, help plz

I've sorted out a form to give to parents to ask about this but don't really understand what legal contact is, is this what an ex husband has or does he have parents res or is this what a new partner has I need to understand incase a parent asks.

Also what happens if an ex husband has responsibility but never has contact and I have no idea who they are, Is it ok for the parent who drops off the children is the only person who fills out my form and is the only one named on it because i'm sure my one parent is only going to put her name,is that ok as i'm not going to ask her again,i'm dreading it as it is.

    Grateful for help, Thanks
    Caroline

Legal contact is the new term for access awarded by a court (I think)

Not sure about the second question - I think you have to record both names but you could ring NCMA for advice

i have parents who are sperated, mother wont put fathers name down as having p/r even though i know he does but i cant force her to add him.

as a cm we have to go with what parents chose to tell us, we cant prove that the parents are holding information back from us ...to me its one of those things we must have but cant force it in certain situations.

the main thing is if the child is removed from their parents and legal guardianship is awarded to a carer or award of court ( summin like that I read it somewhere)

I think thats right anyway ... I'm sure others will be in to help.
Busy losing the will to live mwuahahahaha!

I've given the forms out to parents this morning, along with a newsletter and parent questionnaire, i've been very busy and glad it's finally sorted. Thanks everyone
