    Hello Jennifer

here is mine, I hope it helps.

    Pet Policy
•I do have two dogs one Springer Spaniel called Megan and a Cocker Spaniel called Milly they are fully vaccinated.
•Your child will not have access to the dog’s food.
•Your child will never be left unsupervised with my dogs,
•My dogs are normally kept in a dog run in the back garden that children do not have access to. It is very much the child’s choice how much or as little contact they have with the dogs. If children wish to pat the dogs they are aloud but this will only happen under strict supervision.
•I also have a rabbit in a hutch in the back garden, the rules with the rabbit are very much the same as with the dogs.

    Regards
    Frances

    Cool Re: Pet/Dog Policy

I suppose it's good practice but sorry I've never thought of a pets policy.

I've had 2 inspections during the past 8 years and they've never asked to see pet policies.

I've got three cats and my inspection is due this Oct/Nov but I'm not doing a pet policy.

I've got enough paperwork without adding more - sorry!

Thanks, we're rehoming a rabbit tonight and I'm just checking what paperwork/permissions I need. Do rabbits need to be vaccinated?

My pets are my problem area at the moment. No one has said anything as i'm still waiting on my pre reg visit, but my dog and cat have free roam of the house. The dog doesn't have any outside kennel area as our gardens quite small so she takes a free roam of that too. I need some guidance on how i can restrict where she goes as if some kids don't want to be pestered by a dog that constantly wants attention and cuddles then i need somewhere to put her.

She's a german shepherd, so not a little 'un i can just stick in a cage out of the way. A cage her size wouldn't fit in my house!
