    Default 1 day mindee

I have a mindee for 1 day in a couple of weeks, I know I will need contract and permissions but what about everything else? They are in EYFS age but we are going out for the day so do I need starting points?

I have had a mindee for two days as a one off and I did a contract, child record form and permissions form and that was it.

Yes you must have a contract and all the permissions and a child information form with the childs details any allergies and emergency contact numbers.

If you don't you are breaking the terms of your registration and your insurance will not cover you in respect of this child.

You shold also have a register sheet signed confirming the times they have been with you as they may not be the same as the contracted hours.

    Absolutely!

I have a watered down child information sheet for children who don't come very often but it still asks the same basic questions about allergies etc

Wouldn't think you'd need starting points or anything EYFS related , if it is only for one day I really wouldn't bother.
