    Default Child protection???

    Hi There,
    Can someone please tell me if child protection training last 2 or 3 yrs.
    Did mine with L.A Oct 2015

    I think this depends on your LA - they all have different rules. So your best bet it to email the early years team and ask them.

    There is no recognised 'standard' safeguarding course. So you need to check your certificate, ask your LA or ask the training provider.
    I have always seen them being due for renewal after 3 years.
    But that is not to say some LA or training provider somewhere may recommend 2 years.
    It is not specified in EYFS either, so it is up to you and your idea of 'good practice' to get yourself updated.
