    Default just a quickie :-S

Hi I use to work with my mum as a cm but recently moved out, our children see each other all the time still and parents know us both well, we had permission in place before where the children could be left with either of us, for example emergencies or we would cover each others hols etc we had contacts and they had ours we both had access to record forms etc I'm just wondering as we would still like to cover in emergencies or holidays etc but in our own setting if we could just make a note on the contract or would we need a separate occasional contract wrote up for each child and record form policy agreements etc? Any help would be gr8 thanks in advance x

You dont need to put it on a contract. Well I wouldnt I wouldnt want parents believing that holiday sickness cover would be always provided - what about you were full you wouldnt be able to cover or if you were sick.

A back up cm is useful however they have their limitations.

I would personally just do short term contracs as and when required.
