    will ofsted want to see my planning for the past few years since their last visit or can i just keep the current one?

    I think they like to see the cycle of obs / planning, but I haven't been inspected since the EYFS 2012.

    When I was inspected last I put my planning file out for her to look at if she wanted to, she was pleased to see the wide variety of planning we do and the examples of work / photos.

    Hope someone comes along to answer in more specific terms

    so i'm best keeping it then really arn't i? i have all my planning for activities etc is mainly my long term yrly planning i didnt know what to do with! having a huge file sort for new year

    Old planning is useful for lots of different reasons - to help you improve, to remind you of good ideas from previous years, to give ideas for gaps in resources... and much more!

    Mine is in a big file in month order and I read back over it every year to update, improve, evaluate etc...
