I am in the middle of a paper work mountain!

I am just finsihing my observations before moving to risk assessments!

but I just realised I havnt used birth to three at all I ave used early years foundation stage for all of the children

so is that ok? or do I need to re do?

also exaclty how many times do you re do you household risk assessments?

I think you are ok. Hope I'm right saying this if you are due an inspection between now and sept they will want to see birth to three- that is what you would be assesed on

Tbh at this stage in the game I wouldn't overly worry.

I would make sure you have an understanding of birth to 3, but since most of it's good practice in encompassed in the wording of the eyfs, it's best you carry on doing what you are doing rather than confuse the issue running 2 systems.

As far as risk assessments go, I re-do mine annually... and I make notes if something changes or happens.

I wouldn't worry about not using B23 at this stage.
I was inspected in March and have only used EYFS. Obviously, as we all know, every inspector is different , but mine was happy with what I showed her re obs, assessments etc.
I told the inspector that as I had received my EYFS pack shortly after starting to mind I put it into use straight away. They say that the basics are all pretty much all the same anyway!

I do a daily checklist risk assessment too - things like socket covers in etc etc

This is just a quick tick list to show I have checked all the areas I work in
