    Default Joining pacey

    Hello

I am currently in the process of registering to become a childminding, I haven't applied to ofsted yet as I'm making sure I've got everything ready.

I'm just wondering whether it is worth joining pacey, and what the benefits/disadvantages are of it. Also can you join before you are ofsted registered? And is it one lump sum or can you spend the costs over the year. Sorry for all the questions!!

    Thanks!

    Hi

I think that Pacey is value for money but it depends on what you are looking for. Insurance is cheaper than others but you have to pay a membership fee. The main advantage for me is that, in my opinion, Pacey represents childminders and is not there to make money for the Company. Also, the insurance covered me for children playing outside without me and as I am in a cul de sac it was good to have this so my 12 year olds could play football.

Others will come along I am sure with a counter view but we are all looking for different aspects.
    Debbie
