Answers to some questions posted by members - PACEY removing threads on this Forum
I was concerned about this post and checked this with PACEY. They would like to clarify that at no time have they ever contacted the forum and asked for a post to be removed. They do not have access to childminding help forum and point out that if members have a problem they can contact them in a number of ways:
* by calling Customer Services, on 0845 880 0044
or contacting Pacey through the website using the email address there

Chatterbox Childcare...this is another puzzling post that does not explain what is happening and why you were concerned and had to report it to ncma???
Surely if we have any issue with ncma we would go to their Local forum/website and address it there?

i'm confused

We have no idea what this thread relates to.
We would not remove threads or posts at the request of pacey unless there was a legal reason behind the request.
We were asked to remove a thread to protect a member a while ago - at the request of the member's solicitors. This was explained fully to the member and support was offered privately.
This thread is causing confusion Chatterbox. Perhaps you would like to explain a little more? x

Last month I posted about "what has annoyed you about pacey" and amongst replies was a person who was concerned that PACEY had a post removed.
Sarah you and I had a quick email about this and you assured me that it couldn't happen. I just got PACEY to confirm the same and they are always be bad mouthed and I wanted to clarify to eveyone that they didn't have any influence on what happens on here
If this is causing confusion I am happy for the post to be removed if it helps as it was a good 6 weeks ago.

pacey please otherwise it gets even more confusing especially to new Forum Childminders who now only know pacey.

Chatterbox...once again you are confusing 'bad mouthing' with members and ex members expressing concerns
I am the first to admit that I have questioned ncma recent policies about widening of the m'ship and rebranding...that is not bad mouthing that is my right to do as a paying member
I have done so in this forum and personally to ncma
Maybe ncma ought to consider addressing our concerns themselves rather than others posting on their behalf and you can openly see my questions to them on Local
Sorry I do try to say pacey but it does not come easily..apologies for causing confusion but it grates to use a name I do not recognise or voted for and where the word cm has disappeared altogether!!

Chatterbox, in my opinion nobody was bad mouthing NCMA (pacey if you prefer) However, everyone is entitled to express their views. I didn't agree to widening membership, I remember the heated debate at my regional forum and we didn't even have a vote. What is done is done now but I voted with my feet and I'm no longer a member.

Precisely what I did, opinions are allowed, in agreement or not x

I feel as though I am being used as a battering ram here - where does this thread mention widening membership?
Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I am only answering questions here.

i hope you dont feel used as a battering ram,
i have to admit i was puzzled I was expecting the answers to be added to the original thread. Please remember this is only opinion and normally we feel strongly about a subject or wouldnt reply, much the same as yourself, when it comes to a subject close to our hearts.
We all know you put in a lot of hard work and you rightly should be very proud to talk about it.
