Prospects have called

Had the call from prospects today to see if I am still minding under 5's. (first inspection) How long until Mrs 0 calls roughly in your experience? Are we talking Monday? Or next week? Just asking as after this week that's coming up I'm on holiday for a week!! Really need some quality time with my kids! Paperwork etc pretty much in place so not too worried but know I will stress til Mrs O calls!! just want this over with!

mine was the same day, but we had to make it a few weeks later as i had lots planned that i couldnt re-arrange...so you could use a few excuses

They phoned me 2 weeks 5 days ago and I have not had a phone call from mrs O yet.

I wish she would hurry up and phone because I just want it over and done with now

They called me in March to check was I working, then nothing, then again the same was I working call a week ago and still nothing, it's been 4 years since last inspection and I'm fed up waiting now, I just know they're going to want to come in summer hols when I'm run off my feet with all the schoolies here too

I had a feeling mine would be hols anyway but wanted it done before my holiday so I didn't want to worry about it all week. Good luck when you do eventually get yours

I had the call 2 weeks ago, but still waiting for the inspector, would have sooner had it before the school holidays as I will be settling in a new child who has special needs, a 6 year old with severe special needs and two 3 year olds who are a right handful at the moment, still she/he will have to put up with me spending time the children instead of them.

I must admit that when I had my call I told them I was not prepared to be inspected in the school holidays as I felt it was unfair on the children. I also said that the parents expected the children to be taken out every day( as this is what I do) and that it would be breaking my routines.
They were quite happy with this and came in term time. I was quite prepared for them to come after school to see the older children though.

I had a call in May, then two calls in the last fornight still nothing, I asked the lady on the phone what timescale they were working to, she said from now until july 2012, so anytime from now until then lol

I was told she would visit 10 days after she phoned me, it will be my first inspection tomorrow

Just wanting to get it over with now!

No call yet so just going to forget about it and enjoy my camping holiday with the kids next week! No doubt she will call while I am away lol

Well I has the call today! Mrs P as she is now known is coming In a fortnight! She has been kind enough to give me a date as it's a bit manic as I'm on holiday next week, then the week after we have already booked up til Thursday ( including a trip to Heart Park) week after my main EY child is away for a week. Mrs P was lovely and told me not to worry about SEF as we don't have to had it done and won't be marked down if it's not finished due to being on holiday.

Any tips as to what they are hot on ATM?
