As some of you may know I have been dreading my Ofsted inspection all week. So she's been and was quite nice actually! Even mindee behaved well

I'm so happy with my first inspection, she gave me a good

With an outstanding for partnership with parents. My only recommendation is to look over medication policy again.
She was pretty interested in working alongside others and safeguarding. Also risk assessments and how I have influenced the childrens development/progression.

Big thankyou to Sarah for the fantastic e-book on the SEF, she was impressed but said I need to indentify my strengths more

Easy said than done lol.

Good luck to anyone awaiting a visit and thankyou for all the kind messages. I couldn't have done it without this forum and all the great advice you give

Now time for a celebratory cuppa whilst mindee naps xx

It is so nice to see so many people being graded good and outstanding,

I really believe that the quality of childminders in this country is fantastic and that we should all be proud of the profession that we have chosen to take and the service that we offer to the kids in playing a part in their development.

I know that it is the best and most rewarding job that I have ever done

and I have worked in both the NHS and for the Police, plus I am working alongside my fantastic wife and for ourselves.

Don't get me wrong we have some really tough days as I am sure everyone does, but what a feeling when the little ones go home at the end of the day with a handful of paintings and cakes that they have made.
