1 Hous 10 mins inspection

Had my inspection last week got good in all areas. very rushed1 hour 10 times from arriving to leaving because she did not want to go and sit in the car whilst i went to nursery to pick up and come back in after. Arrived just as i arrive back from morning school run so we were still on the drive Was very picky all the way through stared before she even got in the house.Due to ofsted's paper work that she had not been upto date my variation for 2 under 1 and this was from feb 09.Also had a couple of heated discussion about letting babies/children play with they food at meal times.Children with astham should not be lookeed after if they are wheezing her view.My view can not be sent home every time they wheeze.The icing on the cake one of the little ones who bites, she was warned bit her.

she said that their should be allowed to play with their food. i said not meals times are for eatting not playing they are many other chance to explore the felling of textures throgh planned and unplanned activies these are my views i know some people will have other .Each to there own.

Well done on getting a good grade.
I dont like my lot play with their food, i cant stand it, i think its as bad as eating with mouth open, makes it look like they dont want it then it goes cold

Well Done netty. I agree, ther is a time and place to allow children to explore different textures etc....Not at meal times. IMO.

I have never let my own children play with their food and discourage it with mindees as well....as you all say there are different schools of thought on this....but it is my personal preference and also the way I was brought up

Well Done. Totally agree - children should be encouraged to eat their food not play with it.
